Flood Buckets

One of The Mission Committee’s activities is to make flood buckets for distribution by Church World Mission. Each bucket contains dozens of cleaning and safety items that can be used by families recovering from natural disasters.

Washington Congregational Church is blessed to have members and community friends willing to share their talents during the weekly worship services. Musicians frequently fill the sanctuary with beautiful music. We are also fortunate when members of the congregation step up to conduct a service and share an inspiring message.

Christmas is a time of celebration and good food and sharing.

We hope to host a cookie walk and tea next year, which will be open to the entire community.

Each year we fill food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas, which are distributed by the town’s Welfare Office. We also purchase and wrap gifts for the children of families in Washington who apply through the Welfare Office
